Who operates this site?

This website is operated under the name ABU YAHYA DESIGN. For questions about this notice or the handling of your information, email enquiries@abuyahya.co.uk.

What information is collected?

If you use the enquiry form, the information submitted includes your name, email address, optional business name, enquiry type and project description. The form also processes a security-check response to help prevent automated spam.

Standard technical information may be processed when you load a website, such as your IP address, browser details and requested page. Please do not include sensitive personal information in an enquiry unless it is necessary for the discussion.

How is it used?

Enquiry information is used to review and respond to your request, ask follow-up questions and, if appropriate, prepare a quotation. If work is agreed, relevant correspondence may be used to deliver and administer that work.

The information is not used to make automated decisions about whether a project is accepted. All enquiries are considered individually by the owner.

The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before a possible contract and legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and keeping appropriate records.

Who processes information?

Cloudflare provides website hosting, security checks and email services for the contact form. Contact messages accepted for delivery are sent through Cloudflare Email Service to the destination mailbox configured for the business. The owner’s email provider then processes the message in that mailbox.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used to check that form submissions are likely to come from a person. Its script loads only on the contact form. Cloudflare may process technical information to operate the service and prevent abuse; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Enquiry details are not placed in a website database. They are processed for delivery to the business email account.

How long is information kept?

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only for as long as needed to review and respond, manage any follow-up and keep appropriate business records. They are then deleted or anonymised. Records relating to agreed work may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service and meet relevant business record-keeping obligations.

Technical security data is handled under the relevant service provider’s retention practices.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, to restrict or object to some processing, and to data portability. You can contact ABU YAHYA DESIGN at enquiries@abuyahya.co.uk to make a request.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Information about your rights is available from the ICO.

Cookies and changes

This website does not add analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical storage or signals needed for its security check. This notice will be updated if the site’s data practices change.
